UN seeks to broker civilian evacuation from ruins of Mariupol

 Russian forces have stolen "several hundred thousand tonnes" of grain in the areas of Ukraine they occupy, Ukraine's deputy agriculture minister said on Saturday.



Speaking to Ukrainian national TV, Taras Vysotskiy expressed concern that most of what he said was 1.5 million tonnes of grain stored in occupied territory could also be stolen by Russian forces as well.

Ukraine's foreign ministry accused Russia on Thursday of stealing grain in territory it has occupied, an act it said increased the threat to global food security.

The ASI was posted at Kanwas police station in Kota. According to the bureau, the accused demanded a bribe of Rs 2.50 lakh for putting a final report (FR) on a case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 420 against the father of the complainant in the matter. Later on, a settlement was made at Rs 1.50 lakh after negotiations. ASI Ramratan Khatik, aged 57, demanded a bribe from a resident, Chandra Prakash Saini, aged 38, on Wednesday. The bribe amount was settled at Rs 1.50 lakh.
